How to copy URLs from multiple tabs simultaneously

As a regular part of my product development research at TRR Designs, I need to aggregate data about several products, including their URLs/links/web addresses. I often have 10-20 internet tabs open simultaneously, and I'd like to copy the URLs from all of those sites at the same time to paste them somewhere else for saving.

Luckily, there are indeed easy ways to copy several URLs simultaneously for both Safari (OS X) and Google Chrome!

You do not have to pay for this functionality!

Safari

If Safari is your internet browser of choice, the capability is already built in via the "Show sidebar" option! I think this button is always on the left of the search bar (because Safari wouldn't let me customize it to appear on the right side).

When you have several tabs opened, clicking that button will produce the option to "Copy Links," which are then ready to paste just like you'd hope!

Chrome

If Chrome is your internet browser of choice, there's a free web plugin you can install called TabCopy that works great. Get the TabCopy Chrome web extension here. (I found some other options too, but I liked the features of TabCopy the best.) Once you've got TabCopy installed, you should see a little button on the right of your search bar with a two-stacked-pages icon:

When you have several tabs opened, clicking that button will produce the option to "Copy all of __ tabs," which are then ready to paste just like you'd hope!
