How I pursue several projects simultaneously

TL;DR: MyTasker.com is the best virtual assistant company for your money. I have good reasons for this claim. If you don't believe me, I welcome the debate at hello@tryanrogers.com. Good luck.

All my life, I've wanted two thing (admittedly, among many others):

So, when I read Tim Ferriss' The 4-Hour Workweek (my review), I was instantly convinced I needed a "virtual assistant"-- or VA-- and I needed one IMMEDIATELY.

What is a Virtual Assistant (VA)?

Imagine having a secretary, assistant, or work-from-home employee. This person does your bidding (within reason), but you only ever interact with this person through phone, email, video chat, and other non-face-to-face methods. So, in 2023, a VA is basically just an "A."

I feel like having VAs is like getting to be the PI for my own lab of graduate students. I am the mastermind behind several ongoing projects, and VAs can carry out many of the jobs that would require countless hours of my time yet do not require my expertise

Ok, I want a VA!

Don't we all? Answer: Yes.

Now, much to my disappointment, most of the VA services mentioned in Ferriss' book are now either no longer in business, too expensive, or not taking on new clients. (Interestingly about the latter two reasons: I was told by more than one company mentioned in The 4-Hour Workweek that their prices had increased due to, and the overwhelming majority of their business has come, as a product of that book.)

But to my great satisfaction, I am personally and genuinely convinced I found the all-around best VA company: MyTasker.com. This image gives just a partial rundown of some of the services they can provide for you:

And get this-- I even had my VAs make this image for me to use on my website. 😎

You can find some more information about some other things they can help with here; but in reality, they can help with just about anything! Here are some of the things I've personally used my MyTasker VAs to help with:

And I could go on and on.

Here's the deal.

I'm not paid by MyTasker. I am an "affiliate," so I'll get a little discount on my next VA subscription when new users sign up through this link. But that said, I'd be making this webpage regardless. MyTasker has, in no exaggeration, exponentially multiplied my business and personal productivity. They have been a key factor in helping me get my product development company, TRR Designs, off the ground.

Unlike some VAs you can readily find, MyTasker has full teams of folks in different departments (e.g. graphic design, web development, research, etc.). This makes it more likely that A) one of their employees already has the skills/experience you need, and B) that someone is available to begin work on your task nearly immediately.

MyTasker's services are reasonably priced, and the service they provide is top notch.

If you'd like to discuss my experience or advice for signing up with VA services, I'll gladly share my insights in greater depth. I have experience with other VAs and interviewed multiple different companies before settling on MyTasker. Just email me (hello@tryanrogers.com) for anything you'd like to know about!
